We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing to promote our brand and generate leads for our sales team. Come experience the Coastal difference!

Coastal Payroll, located in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, is currently seeking a Full-Time Director of Marketing.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Attending industry networking events to build the Coastal Payroll brand and generate sales leads
  • Formulating, directing, or coordinating marketing activities or policies to promote products or services
  • Developing pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Initiating market research studies or analyze their findings.
  • Coordinating with HR professionals and company executives to market products or services.
  • Developing new business via mass email campaigns
  • Generating educational information for prospects and current clients
  • Supporting the sales team by providing them with the necessary tools to give prospective clients
  • Managing data for new and prospective clients in salesforce.com ensuring that all communications are recorded.
  • Developing and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
  • Managing all social media channels
  • Managing the Coastal Payroll brand
  • Writing payroll industry blogs
  • Producing monthly employee newsletter
  • Managing website content and ensure it is always up to date

A bachelors degree from a four year University with a marketing degree (or similar) is required. 5+ years of experience in marketing field Must be a team player and have the ability to meet tight deadlines, as well as exhibit a high level of confidentiality, detail-orientation, time management, organizational, written and oral communication, and problem-solving skills. Five years of experience working in a professional setting is required.
