Coastal Payroll is currently looking to hire a Client Support Specialist to join our Client Support team. The Client Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with customer service and payroll processing functions. This position serves as the primary point of contact for a book of clients, providing customer support, training and issue resolution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage your own "book" of clients to ensure that payrolls are processed accurately and according to daily deadlines
  • Assist clients with training and ongoing use of our web-based human capital management products
  • Help clients analyze payroll reports and develop reporting to assist clients in better understanding payroll data
  • Manage high volume incoming calls and support cases
  • Work directly under company management to further enhance payroll knowledge and become an expert in the field

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Knowledge and experience in customer service/operations in payroll and human resources functions.
  • Strong phone and web-based customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
  • Knowledge of payroll taxes, both at the Federal and State level
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to stay organized, pay close attention to detail, and be accurate
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • BS/BA degree is preferred
