Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our IT Department. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Business Analyst to support and optimize our Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business units.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain our Salesforce platform, including user setup, security settings, profiles, roles, and permissions.
- Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business requirements, such as creating custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and implement them in Salesforce.
- Implement and maintain automation processes using tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.
- Conduct regular data monitoring, cleansing, and maintenance to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to users, ensuring they understand and utilize Salesforce effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and features, evaluating their applicability and implementing them as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to prioritize and manage Salesforce-related projects and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users, escalating to Salesforce support if necessary.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, configuration, and customization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration tools (Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with a Business Analyst and understanding their role in gathering and documenting requirements.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data model and best practices for data management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements: This position requires working on a computer for extended periods and using basic office equipment.
